3. To let Ss review what they have learnt in this module.
Teaching procedures:

2. Ask Ss to read the passage quickly and then get them to answer the questions in Activity 1 and Activity 2 on page 23.
3. Ask Ss to read the passage carefully and finish Activity 3 on page 23.
Step 3. Speaking

There are so many good things that happened to me those two years.
There’s so much to remember.
The highlight of the year was…
What was great about it was…
My feeling is that...
It was a good thing / pity that…
Step 4. Writing
Ask Ss to choose one of their unforgettable highlights in their senior year, discuss it with their partners and make notes of the key words and phrases. And then get them to write a short passage about it.
(The following structure may help Ss.)
Para 1: Give some information about yourself: name, age, class and what your favorite subjects are.
Para 2: Describe the highlight of your senior high.
Para 3: Express your feeling about it.
One possible version:
My name is Eric. I am sixteen years old , and am in class 4. My favorite subjects are music and art. I like to study in a big school because it is good chance for me to make friends with others. I think the timetable is very important for a student, but I would like have more free time to stay with my friends. I think the vacations should be long because it is a good time to relax one.
I would like there to be more after-school activities in my school. Now , I am an member of the running club, and it is great for me. However, in my opinion I think there should be more clubs that we can learn some social skills for us to join. I don’t think it’s good idea to have some clubs which met at lunch-time, cause it’s for students to have a rest.
It would be nice if there were other special events for the freshman, too. For example, see a film in the weekend. Another good idea would be to have some activities outside the school and have a good time in a great place. Surely , the most important things for us is studying hard and learn well, but at the same time it is also important for you to learn some social skills.
Step 5. Module File
Purpose: To enable Ss to make a conclusion of this module and deepen what they have learned in the module.
